Haul-it to provide driver CPC training

Haul-it Nationwide Ltd is set to provide Driver CPC training for agency drivers in 2010. Once JAUPT accredited its training centre will deliver periodic training modules designed specifically for ‘today’s’ professional agency driver. Operations Director Russ Chamberlain said ‘ whilst thousands of LGV drivers across the UK are currently opting for the flexibility that agency work provides, they may not be able to benefit from the investment in training normally provided by employers for their full time drivers.’ He continued ‘Haul-it has hundreds of active HGV drivers throughout the UK and we will ensure that they all have the opportunity to benefit from the training.’ Haul-it aims to improve driver quality standards by paying particular attention to fuel efficiency, digital tachograph and health and safety aspects associated with the HGV driver daily routine. Haul-it will issue further details in the New Year.
